What data and why

When you order we collect: email address, company name and address, tax ID (NIP) and, optionally, the name of the contact person, phone number, delivery address and a description of your needs. We use them to:

• prepare a quote or fulfil the order and issue invoices (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
• meet our tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
• communicate with the person representing the company and pursue any claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot fulfil the order.

Tax ID check

We check the tax ID (NIP) you enter in public registers: the VAT taxpayer list (Polish Ministry of Finance) and the REGON register (Statistics Poland). An EU VAT number from another country is checked in VIES (European Commission). Only the number is sent to the registers.

How we protect the data

Order data is stored encrypted in our database. The encryption keys are kept separately from the database. The email address and NIP can only be searched by a one-way hash, without decrypting the rest of the data.

Who receives the data

Providers of services the shop cannot run without: hosting and email, our accounting office and invoicing system, the courier company (delivery address) and the distributor, if it ships directly to you. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.

How long

We keep order data for 6 years (tax obligations and limitation of claims) and data from quote requests alone for one year. After that, personal data is deleted automatically and only amounts and products remain.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify, erase or restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. Write to us: e-mail [email protected], phone +48 501 600 734. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Cookies and browser storage

The shop does not use tracking cookies. Your cart and chosen shop language are stored only in your browser (localStorage).
